ROMANTIC ELOPEMENT IN THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS

I absolutely love filming elopements. There is something so deeply romantic about a couple committing themselves to each other surrounded by rolling mountains, lochs and forests and completely exposed to the elements. It is so raw and so brave and quite often I find myself tearing up while gazing through my viewfinder. I had the absolute pleasure of filming Ashton and Chris’ special day in September who came all the way from Pennsylvania, USA to the Cairngorms National Park in the Highlands of Scotland. I met them at their castle hotel for some prep shots and then we journeyed to the shores of Loch Garten for an intimate ceremony conducted by Kirsty and photographed by the amazing Laszlo. We then adventured around the National Park trekking through pine forests and along beautiful loch sides. A truly beautiful experience.
